Start Slide Show with PicLens Lite ![]()
These pictures were taken on the Ukraine/Russia tour in October 2007.

This was in the lower level of the tour bus. Kelly slid the pile of food aside and set up his RC Plane simulator rig and played it for hours while talking with Lou. It was sort of a dungeon down there. The bus experience was truly smelly, bumpy and generally nasty, but the band didn’t seem to have much of a problem with it. The bus trip started in Kiev and circled Ukraine and ended up in Kharkiv, Russia before the next leg of the travel switched to a most-welcome jet to Omsk.

This is the way that the meal arrived — with the chicken on one side and the dipping sauce on the other side of the huge plate. It was quite tasty.

Gordon enjoys a “little” cup of latte in Omsk.

It’s never a good sign when a Russian is asking “What the hell was I eating there?” while on the road in Russia. It’s important to point out that one of the things that Lidia did on the tour was to translate the menus to the English speakers so everybody could order with some sort of understanding and confidence in the matter.
Hmmm….
