    Hi Eric,

Great gig the other night. I would be happy to swap some Beatles stories with you and the others. My birth father is Lionel Morton, who was in the band The Four Pennies, out of Blackpool, in the whole Mersey Beat era, they use to support The Beatles at the Cavern and my father knew Lennon and McCartney well.

    Hello Eric,

The gigs @ Dudley and Bilston were excellent. I admired your professionalism with the technical issues at the Robin2 with “Twilight”.

I’ve always rated your composition “Honest Men”. And I would love to hear it live again. Could you tell me what was your inspiration; what was the driver behind this track?

    Regards,

    Keith JS

Hi Eric, I’m thrilled that you are doing some gigs in Israel. I’ll put the word out to my contacts over there. One favour? I’ve asked one or two times recently but I would really appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes to lay out the inspiration behind what I consider to be one of your best compositions: Honest Men. Many thanx in advance. Best Regards; Keith Sinclair

Apologies Eric … I just read your message of 16th May re: Honest Men in the ‘Music’ section!!! Thank you for taking the time to answer. I’d love to hear this track live again … maybe @ the Robin in October? This song has engendered quite a quite a few blogs and some discussion! In any case; I think you are a fine musician and songwriter sir. Enjoy Israel and [hopefully] see you in October. Rgds, Keith JS

    Hi Eric

My wife and me were yesterday at the Rananana 2nd Israeli gig and it was great !!!

It was the soundtrack of my youth years and you did it awesome by performing the songs with the right harmonic vocals and playing the music instruments.

Thank you and your colleagues for a great unforgettable evening.

Hoping to see you again in Israel
    Ori

    To Mr. Eric Troyer!

Your creation and performance of the advertisement
for IBM’s typewriter division circa 1984 when the ad
with your words, vocal and instrumentation,”We’re your type!” was absolutely tremendous. (I’d rank ELO’s “VW ‘Bubbles’ commercial and some of the early Saturn commercials as second and third place.)
Your contribution to pop culture was not only tremendous, but you were the first to soften the image of Big Blue and change it forever… for the highest and greatest good! Cheers to you!
I recently found it on youtube and it’s a treasured item! All best wishes! marc barlow in st. petersburg, florida
