Todd Rundgren. Do I win a prize?
I Saw The Light, Hello Its Me, Just One Victory, A Dream Goes on Forever, We Gotta Get You A Woman, Be Nice To Me. Love Is The Answer. Can We Still Be Friends? Some of my favourite tunes, (especially the last two). I’ve always thought your songs had a little echo of Todd’s style… (I mean that in a nice way).
Cool pic.

you are so right..and he has alway been a big influence on me …i love the way he writes and sings..he’s difficult to work with sometimes…i will write some stories about all that in the future…

Friendly Admin would also be interested in hearing Eric talk about singing with Todd on Saturday Night Live.

Cool… You’ve now got me digging into my limited Todd collection (“Go Ahead Ignore Me” 2CD compilation) and also his Epic double album “Todd”, now…!
I think I need to buy a few more to expand my listening pleasures, as I’m enjoying playing spot the Eric-y bits…

Can We Still Be Friends is one of my favorite songs of all times….perfection…his voice is so perfect too…
#6 by Jeff Cooper at May 18th, 2009
Absolutely agree. It’s so emotive – his voice somehow manages to be fragile and powerful at the same time.
Gets me *every* time I hear it. I can never tire of listening to ‘Can We Still Be Friends’. Also, it fades away leaving you wanting more…. so you have to hit repeat! That’s a neat trick!
I love the la-la-la, ba-ba-ba bits.
You’re own style is *very reminiscent* of this Eric, I can’t believe I never twigged quite how much before

Glad u put Love is the Answer as 1 of his great ones. I absolutely love it. It was a big hit here in the states for England Dan & John Ford Coley. Don’t Forget “Bang on the Drum All Day”. Another big US hit for Todd. I also loved his remake of u know who’s “Do Ya”.
