The Orchestra On Tour!!
This is the Orchestra playing Mr. Blue Sky in Ukraine, 2007. Just the last minute of the performance, though.
A short clip of the stage fog in Kiev, October 2007. Lou is having trouble seeing his keyboard and Eric leans back to get away from the fog. It’s difficult to sing with that amount of fog in the air, so I am told.

Hi Eric
My wife Sue and I had a fantastic night in York at the Opera House. In spite of the challenges you guys came up trumps with a superb show. Thank you. Tickets for the Newcastle show at the Opera House on 2nd November go on sale on 15th June and I’ll be straight in to ensure that my party of ten will be dead centre a few rows back.
I’m an old guy and the best year for popular music as far as I’m concerned was 1978. There have been a few good ones since, but nothing to touch that year for sheer variety and proper sing-along stuff. To have you fellows still belting out classics is an absolute privilege and I will be at all of your shows in the North East until it becomes impossible for me to be carried in and out!! At the moment I can do it under my own steam and long may it be so.
May I complement you Eric on your website. It is great reading and helps your fans to connect with your lives – not that I can understand how on earth you put up with it!
One of our gang on 2nd November is a young man who plays percussion, guitar and leads the vocals on a Jam tribute band called “Small Weller”. He’s looking forward to being further educated on how to put on a spanking good gig with minimal jazzy effects. Have a great summer and refresh yourself for the challnges of the Autumn tour.
Best wishes
David

You may be an Old Guy, David, but you have a very young heart – and I love your comments.
Enjoy yourself.

In 1978 I was 10 and enjoying most of the same music as you did (except Boney M – I hated them and still do!).
You can’t be that old – you’re the same age as my Mum, and she still looks fab!
